Born Simple is a clean-label food brand offering heat-and-eat meals designed for health-conscious consumers seeking convenience without compromise. With a focus on simple ingredients, bold flavors, and better-for-you nutrition, the brand had strong product fundamentals but struggled to connect at shelf in a category dominated by comfort food giants. Compounding the challenge, the small physical footprint of the existing format made it even harder to capture attention in crowded retail environments.
Our team led a strategic repositioning initiative to elevate Born Simple’s performance in mass retail. The new packaging system introduced stronger visual appetite cues, a clearer brand story, and a more confident on-shelf presence. The work resulted in a 14-point lift in purchase intent, outperforming both the original design and leading competitors such as Tasty Bite and Ben’s Street Food.
