7-Eleven is one of the largest convenience store chains in the world with more than 50,900 stores in sixteen countries.

Overview

SmashBrand was brought in to take a close look at the 7-Eleven Transact and Transact Family prepaid debit cards and develop a strategy for this family of products.

With the prepaid card sector being comparatively slow to adopt modern design trends, it was the perfect time to create a bolder, more progressive expression of 7-Eleven's prepaid card to connect with consumers. We created a design system reflecting a fresh modern look and feel with more vibrant colors that align with perceptions of trust and innovation. Bringing forward this younger design aesthetic attracted more millennials and female demographics as well as delivered a higher perceived value to the brand as a whole.
