As one of the founding partners of SmashBrand LLC Matthew is the man to speak to when it comes to creative direction, concept development or anything for that matter. A hardcore content and media junkie Matthew consumes anything he can get his hands or eyes on to further his skills, perspective and knowledge. With an incredible ability to see new and interesting solutions to design, web and marketing problems he is always bringing that fresh energy that is infectious and gets the crew going.

Pushing pixels daily with an eye for perfection he continually seeks to improve anything he touches.

With over 10+ years experience in the design world Matthew began his journey in 1999 with the creation of his first self titled (sort of) company Matty Studios. Matthew has worked with the large and the small and just about all those in between. He rocked out with Keisha Chante, Shawn Desman, Gino Vanelli and Sloan while shooting thier covers and designing their albums, had his hearing impaired shooting Schumacher on the Formula 1 circuit with Sutton Images, and helped in all the faucets of artist creation at Sony Music, he has created countless brands, print ads and hundreds of award winning websites, but all of this is evident in the beauty and quality of his work . . of which you can see lots of in SmashBrand's work portfolio.

Since having worked with so many of the top companies and design agencies over the last 10 years it has given Matthew a very unique perspective on the creative work flow and his personal mantra of keeping that flow as efficient and cost effective as possible has garnered him much praise from clients past and present.

After all is said and done Matthew prefers a good old fashion handshake over a 10 page contract, he values honesty, humor, and passion above all. Always on the lookout for challenging and fresh projects that can continue to push his skill to an even higher level and in the end deliver a truly creative and successful project.

A very busy and elusive man to track down for a bio and even harder to get him to sit still for 5 minutes without thinking up some new and insanely creative idea that takes you completely off track from what your original intent was . . hence this semi complete bio. When he is not pushing pixels Matthew is an avid reader, roller hockey Pro (he so wishes), writer, theorist, photographer and devoted family man trying to find that perfect balance of work, fun, family. life and the perfect sound . . when the puck rings off the crossbar from 100ft away.

He made some real progress as of late on this bio and has promised us that he will at some point devote an hour to completing his tale, but he says it keeps changing minute to minute.
